From an idea to the store
Scoping, design, development, getting it published, and keeping it alive afterwards. We can take the whole thing, or just the parts you need.
We've shipped and maintained our own apps on the App Store and Google Play since 2024, so the accounts, store assets, review process and post-launch updates are all things we do routinely rather than for the first time.
01 — Pin down what we're building
One round on requirements to settle scope, platforms and a rough schedule. This is where we'll tell you which features aren't worth doing in v1.
02 — Interface and store assets together
Icon, screens, App Store screenshots and preview video all get done in one pass, not the night before you submit.
03 — iOS and Android build
You get test builds throughout (TestFlight or an internal track), and at handover a working release plus the full source.
04 — From developer account to approval
Company entity, D-U-N-S number, Apple Developer and Play Console setup, privacy policy, the App Privacy and Data Safety forms, submission, and the rewrites if it gets rejected.
05 — Someone has to mind it after launch
Version updates, new OS releases, crash monitoring, store reviews, policy changes. We'll also take over an app someone else built.
What we take, and what we don't
We take iOS and Android apps and casual games, publishing-only work when you already have the build, handovers of apps someone else started, and the matching website. We don't take work that needs us sitting in your office, open-ended scope billed by the hour, or heavily regulated categories such as gambling, lending or medical diagnosis.
Whose developer account is it?
Yours. It's registered under your company entity and stays yours throughout. We only need collaborator access, and you revoke it when we're done.
Do we get the source?
Yes. The repository comes with the handover, so you can carry on yourself or hand it to anyone else.
How long does it take?
Publishing only, with materials ready, is one to two weeks. Building a modest app from scratch is usually two to three months. The wait on D-U-N-S isn't something we control.
What if the store rejects it?
We rework it until it passes, at no extra charge. We've hit most of the common rejection reasons already.
Do we have to keep you on for maintenance?
No. Maintenance is billed separately. Take it in house after handover, or come back later if you'd rather not.
